COHO SALMON - Coho Salmon, also called silver salmon, are found in coastal waters of Alaska. The Coho or Silver Salmon are the most handsome of all the Pacific Ocean Salmon with it's stunning metallic blue and silver coloration and glistening vivid orange flesh color. The flesh has a delicate mellow flavor and a velvety texture, full of Omega-3 oils , yet less fatty than a king or sockeye.

HALIBUT - Sammy's Seafood purchases only the sustainable Alaskan fresh halibut in season from February to November. Halibut has a very mild, sweet tasting flavor. It's flesh color is white and can produce large portions of boneless white meat. Halibut are among the largest fish in the sea and the largest of all the flatfish. Halibut is prized for its delicate sweet flavor, snow-white color and firm flaky meat. Halibut also yield roundish cheeks which are extracted from their head area. Halibut cheeks are sweet flavored and are considered a delicacy.

KING SALMON - The Alaska King Salmon is the largest species of Pacific Salmon. King Salmon meat is high in Omega 3 oils and the meat is full of flavor, the color is rich, and the taste is supreme. Known for their buttery flavor, this great white salmon of the Pacific Northwest are available at Sammy's only in season-for Alaska that is the summer months.

SOCKEYE SALMON - The Sockeye is the smallest most delicate of the Alaska Wild salmon family, these wild salmon are sought after for their unique flavor and bright red, extra firm texture. The sockeye salmon, often referred to as "red" or "blueback" salmon, occurs in the North Pacific and Arctic oceans and associated freshwater systems.
