Sammy’s TRACE™ Program
We believe that educating our customers as to why we’ve chosen each supplier is just as important. After each fresh fish passes our quality assurance inspection, we record the name of the boat, Captain and catch date, assign a 3-letter code for its fish species, and tag it with a Sammy’s TRACE™ key card. Once tagged, our customers can trace their fish from catch to plate.

TRACE™ Cards
Each fresh fish is shipped with our Sammy’s TRACE™ tag(s) as an interactive tool to educate consumers and assure Sammy’s quality. Customers can log-in to our website, enter the Sammy’s TRACE™ tag identity code, and learn about the Captain and their fishing boat, catch method, location of where their fish was caught, and verify the species is what they ordered from our customers’ menu(s). We believe that taking these extra steps not only mitigates food safety concerns, but also creates a transparent system of authentication for each fish species.
